♥ Squishy Squashy Fun!
Happy Birthday to DaTou! We really had SO much fun today I don't think I can slp w.o blogging abt it :):) here it goes!
I walked a great deal before meeting up w her, to tamp to get the cake n lunch n a small lighter (I debated calling her up to bring a lighter for her own cake but decided against it! haha!), frm marymount mrt to find the 852 bus stop, only to decide tt I might as well walk one more stop to Mac ritchie itself (climbing three overhead bridges on the way -.-") n then I finally met DaTou!
Happily walked to the area where I had happy memories during a few of the focs.. Sat dwn, took out the cake, only to realize the person frigging forgot to give me the candle!!! Damn A.T.! In the end she blew the flame frm the lighter! Wahaha! First epic scene, super cute :)
Chatted non-stop, nvr look where we our going, insisted tt we 随缘! End up walk extra dunno how many km before we found a sign tt wrote "Tree-top walk" n finally had a destination in mind. Saw grey monkeys, cute mushrooms, n many greenery, sweated n got sticky sticky, but mostly we talked abt tcm n our futures! It's been long since we last chatted like this! (the last one shld b the trip frm power Nasi!) Drizzled a little, n finally we got there! Den DaTou decided she had Nvr been there before -.-""" two Malays walked in front of us, n then they saw us n yelled at us to hurry! Cuz they gg to close the trail!! :(:( haha so difficult finally got there n we had to hurry thru the road :(:( glad she loved e scenery n breeze there!
Once we got off, weather started getting ugly, took out my pathetic little umbrella, n squeezed the two fat us under it. Shoulder started getting wet, avoided the little puddles of water, got amazed at those ppl running past us in the rain, n then started to wonder if we're going the wrong way, back got wet, puddles turned into pools tt are unavoidable, vision got blurred by the rain, everything was brown/green, HAHA! at our sorry plight, had to hook arms to try nt getting our faces slapped by the rain, trudged on, pools became rivers, shoes were entirely soaked thru, bras got wet, water started dripping dwn ass-cracks, got worried if we could get out before nightfall, stopped some runner to ask if we're nearing the exit but he said not really (!!!) but we got out somehow! Asked a car for directions n the uncle offered to give us a lift out! So touched but no, we didn't wanna wet his car (he said NVM!!!, but still.). Another one honked at us n asked us the same thg. SUPER NICE singaporeans!! Hug!!! N then EPIC really started.
No more tree shelter, rain got bigger, along the concrete pathway we laughed at how dumb we would seem to passers-by, n how futile my little umbrella seemed to be. Some emo runner walked a little away frm us n we decided to overtake him! Ran abit n overtook him, n then my umbrella overturned!! We screamed n he stared at us!!! Omg omg omg. I was damn stun n DaTou couldn't stop laughing!! Jibei I couldn't flip it back on my own!! Haha den I made her stop laughing n help me!! Hehehe.. Den I started singing the Birthday Song for her n momentarily removed e umbrella! So funny!!! Should have taken a shot of tt look! SO EPIC!!! :D :D she did tt again at the end of the song, n then I did a third time (by making her look up at the sky for dark clouds!! wahaha~ 好好骗哦!!) tasted salty rain as we laughed our hearts out :) hahaha I wondered if my umbrella did make a difference to our degree of wetness?!!
Finally, rain stopped, felt sucky n wetty n wanna go home, but we ate prata somewhere nearby first (thanks DaTou, u managed to make us stop one bus stop early n we had to walk summore! *smack!). Sat dwn like FINALLY, den started laughing again.. Took a look at ourselves n I found tt I had One dry spot, where I hugged my bag to my front! Rest of me was wet max, down to the core! DaTou's turn, n she had NO dry spot! Super hilarious :):)
On the way home it was cold n I shivered plenty but I guess it was well worth it. The last time I had sucha crazy trip was w e dhs bballers at pasir ris park! We purposely cycled in the rain n even slid down slides to fall into the puddle of mud below, n then bathe in the mud water! Hahaha that was also epic! :):) 人生怎能没疯过?!
Bathed, n then proceeded to bb's hse, n I did acup for papa! Haha the papa who nvr asked me for opinions before, had leg pain! Upon checking, 水肿! He was real scared, haha n I convinced him tt needles once in a while can definitely help out :D n then mummy's routine dosage for her 正中神经受压, n bb's little 酸 knee (he yelled plenty! unlike brave papa n mama! pui!) 落网之鱼: baobei's korkor! who also got a sprained ankle weeks back, now nt pain but only abit 肿, refused to let me poke. Hehehe u shld haf seen his face when he came home to find all his family members immobilized by my needles :D
