♥ feeling happy~
at home now, after tuition n before a delicious dinner :D really think i like tuition, even thou it makes me really tired sometimes. happy to see my tuitees happy after they understood an especially difficult concept, happy to see them score better at exams n tests. happy when i can solve qns on topics tt i had not touched in a very very long time. lol. its just indescribable.

met up with my psch frens last fri. really super long nvr see a large proportion of them. oh man, ten years just passed like that, n we're all so grown up now le. so.... haiz. a little sad tt the most of the usual gang nvr come. weesiang, yuanrong, weeboon, jasmine, thiam boon... from our usual gang, only me, mingwei n connie turned up. PANG SEH KIAS lor all of them. i also miss kangwen! hahaha saw his picts on facebook, he really seems so much happier and hair so much curlier! a different him. glad that he's having a great time at Imperial College on a scholarship... proud of him too! he's the only one to be on a prestigious scholarship. considering we're frm the best class of Bedok South Primary School 1999 class~ hehe~ was in a very pleasant mood during the gathering.

jingjie - like OH MY GOD. haha he's like freakin tall now?! the last time i saw him was seriously in primary sch, haha den he was half a head shorter, chubbier, n much cuter =X haha... now he's huge. but he still talks the same way! haha n he remembered how i tortured him back in those days...forced him to listen to ah zhe's songs! hehehhehehe!
menghwee - haha he's still a little weird, as usual (ok, corrected, alot!) althou he changed frm tengnang pai (chinese type) to angmoh pai (english type), i feel that he's still a little shy, a little scared of expression, and abit hard to understand. but its great to remember he was the reason for my superb hanyupinyin! thanks menghwee!!!
fadilah - still as pretty as ever! lol she has very nice curls~ i really like that. n she also appears very happy, now studying history at NUS. hmmm, to think we used to compete alot in class! haha i always thought she was relatively jealous of my grades (oh man she better not see this!) but yea, it was healthy competition n i guess all of us benefitted from it in some way or another.
the two shahidas - not so close to them but it was still great to see them~ a little sian cuz must be aware tt must speak in channel 5... haha. i always think many things cannot be properly expressed in english alone (or chinese alone.) i love being a typical singaporean!
sharon - LOL she's still as.......err......searchin for the right word, hmmm......"sharon?" haha she's just so sharon. someone with a distinct character, talks alot, very opinionated, even more so now that she is more confident now as compared to the past. a little not used to her speakin in mainly eng now thou... :)
guofeng - haha still appears blur! nthg much to say since it wasnt very long since i last saw him. hehe... he's a very funny person to have around~
mingwei - too bad our common gang not arnd! if not can end our gatherin w a long-missed mj session! i like the part u rem jasmine's bdae cuz she used her mechanical pencil n kept poking u with it while muttering the date for days! hahaha SO SO typical of her!! hilarious. n u said thiamboon become body builder?! i cant wait to see him sia. hmmm...
connie - our camcorder for the transient six yrs in BSPS. lol u can even rem Asysik sat in front of me n we used to bully him tog!! n all the little details that would be so dear to all of us years n years later... n HEY what the hell, wang lao shi super double-standard lor! now that i find out he used to buy assessment books for you?!?! KAOS... hahha i recall feelin REALLY jealous he pays so much attention to ya n not me. haha remember? im a super big attention seeker. lol. n cheers to my specs. i cannot forget how he pointed out how i wrongly wore my first pair of specs! until today i still cannot forget. NEVER!!! haha.
ying ning - still as skinny, if nt skinnier. haha ur little bro prob wont recog any of us nowadays.. but would like to see him in person, see if he really as goodlooking as u said! the part abt our building an airport at ur place is really nostalgic. haha with toilet rolls as body and clay top, no wonder it wouldnt stand up properly! ahaha n i rem ur mom made me face away frm ur shen tai whenever i sat down, as a form of respect to the god). i used to think it was rubbish! (n i still think so! bleah~) n ur mom also said ah zhe's canto suck. hahaha i used to defend him, i rem! so cute...
sylvia - hehe no offence but u definitely 发福-ed! hahaha i still recall how peipei, u n i used to rave over ah zhe's songs! so cute tt the two cute girls (i mean u n peipei) n the noisy ME were so crazy over him. hahaha i suddenly recall that time i had two pens, one green, one pink, the green one represented 马景涛, aka 小马哥, while the pink one represented ah zhe, den yuanrong once accidentally bumped into/dropped one of them, n i made him apologize to the pen! ahhahaha SIAO-ed.
? anyone i missed out during the gathering? hope not! haha hafiz daud, i wish we would get chance to meet up w him! i rem he was not bad looking, but connie said he was the heartthrob of our sch, n sharon revealed she had a crush on him b4! wahahahZ~ dunno if he's still as shuai as last time? or better? hahaha i cannot imagining me ever having a crush on malay boys, but some of them are admittingly real cute! wonder how is big bully mahmud too? lol. used to hate him intensely at times in the past! n yanting, she has broken out of herself n can speak up so much more now, so i heard. good for her! so many more things to say but im kinda speechless now. the awesome feelin of time that passed...ticked by...

readin The Life of Pi now. a very unusual book, that stirred up some deep thinkin on my part. the stark reality of life is all about survival in the simplest sense. i wonder if i have the courage to face up to life if i were placed in such situations as him...

♥ durian durians! free durians!
OUR DURIAN STORY

it all started with this little half rotten durian.
jitchern told us NIE got durian trees, we dun believe... haha so i pestered him to show me, n he brought me to see see! ta-da! i picked my first, but inedible durian back hall to show baobei! amazingly, i din see the Maggots in the hole... haha i still forced baobei to open it see the other side can eat anot.. unsurprisingly.. CANNOT. and he scratched his fat palm while openin it... hehe dumb dumb!

then we decided to just buy one cuz we very gian... but we din wanna just eat them, we wan open the durian ourselves.... so.... we smuggled one onto 199 bus... hehee! uncle smelt something wrong n keep turnin to look at us! haha since there were only US n one other person (which alighted soon after), it was quite obvious who caused the strong smell in the bus... plus we were giggling away n lookin super suspicious -______-

undeterred by the rotten durian... i went up the slope with baobei one fine evening when it was still bright... and within 15 minutes, i heard PLARK, followed by rustling of leaves, then a super loud POMP, and we turned around to see the durian fall to the ground, roll n roll until near the nie pond! i gave chase immediately, with baobei cheering me on! hahaha so EXCITING can?! it was huge, n rolled very close to the edge of the slope which leads to the pond, but luckily it stopped there! imagine my happiness when i picked up my first durian of my life! *couldnt stop smiling!*

after which, in my utmost eagerness to open the durian... i took up my fruits knife (while baobei told me he go level 6 pantry to look for tools to open durian), foolishness overcame me n i treated the fruits knife like a durian knife, n chopped down on the durian, the way u chop it using a durian knife (EXCEPT that it WASNT a durian knife in the first place...)

i was too embarrassed to tell baobei what happened when he appeared n saw me holdin my fat thumb which was bleeding non-stop. muahaha.. this must be one of the most retarded things ive done in my life...
.
nonetheless! i was still super enthu over durians, n that very SAME night, i pestered baobei to go with me to pick durians again!
ta-da! a baby one! hehe... cuz it was alrdy dark, n we got no torchlight, so it was kinda hard to use handphone light to find the durian after hearing the POMP... but I DID IT! haha n was covered in sweat after finding it... climb up n down in the dark hor!
because huiping's dad passed me three durians, on top of the fat one we picked that afternoon, we decided not to eat this small one... so i brought it home! over the mrt! hahaha~ im GOOD. i wrapped it in three plastic bags!
mummy is a durian expert! she got it opened in less than a min! chop, chop, open le... amazed... anyways this small one tasted extremely nice! but..... that very same night (after going cycling n intense arcade w shinwei/maggot) i felt sick/fell sick... fever. grrrr...

i still wan pick! haha right after i recovered, the following day i picked this! just walked arnd there after my FYP finish... den i saw this lying on the floor!

and through the small holes we dug, we used our fingers to dig the flesh out! haha it was altogether a very very messy affair.

Pick Of The Season!
this humongous durian was picked on 22nd June (Mon), yellow in colour n prob more than 1kg in weight! i couldn sleep that night, so, near midnight, i went for a walk there alone w my torchlight (i koped frm my FYP lab!)... walk walk walk, then reachin end of the stretch, a very loud n characteristic PLARK, rustling of leaves, and POMP! hahaha super lucky lah! not even 5 min den got one drop le! in my eagerness, i nearly sprained my ankle running after it in the dark. haha i tried to linger around in hope of another one droppin, but at midnight everything seemed somewhat scarier and eerier... so i left after ten min or so...
xiang xiang! n WOW! look at all the meat! haha over 20 seeds inside, but wasnt as nice or as fleshy compared to the small little one i brought home, or the one we bought at boonlay mrt... hmmm...
haha this big one was opened today, together with the small one i picked today... i brought picnic mat up! i sat there for approx 2 hrs but only picked this. cuz got one annoying uncle sat under two of the trees... den during these two hrs his side drop 2 small ones! if he weren't arnd i would have gone back with THREE small durians instead of only one!!! ANGRYYYY!!!!
baobao was nice enough to dabao for me n eat with me at the durian area! haha both of us served as food for the mosquitoes/red ants there... i had NINE bites in total on my two thighs =X but it was quite worth it! hehe~
small little one! so cute~ haha but the meat was very hard n inedible... lol~

baobei is off to reservist this wk n next, but i go out to meet him for dinner ydae, n today he gets to book out to stay in hall~ haha last wk i drew some funny faces on his tummy! dun be amazed at how his belly button can portray such vivid expressions!!!

been a long time since either of us blog..being lazy and alot of game to play..haha..
aniwae,
abit late but Happy Birthday Isa!! =) had fun at the chalet..seldom get to see the lvls 5 gang gathering at another place other den blk B lvl 5..haha..lots of laughter playing card game n drinking...
paopei masterpiece.. machiam got chicken pox lidat..basket..the paint v hard to remove..rub until my skin damn pain..

went to west coast park to fly kite..paopei bought a spiderman balloon for me from the carpark carnival..V cute! haha..tie it ard my hand and immediately got alot of attention from all the kids we walk past."Spiderman Spiderman!!"
bleh. so old liao still tie one spiderman balloon. haha..still got ppl ask we we got it when we went jurong point in the evening.hehe.
once again, we didnt manage to get our new kite to stay in the air for 1 mins..juz like all the pervious kite, we couldnt get it to fly..damn sian..in the end.. the stupid paopei came up with a STUPID-ER idea....

haha..damn paiseh..the rest fly the kite so high..deere we only attached the string to the balloon n jzu let it fly up..haha..got a few times still disturb the fly-kite ppl..hehe..damn irritating..but the stupid paopei is DAMN happy abt it..keep lett it fly and walk ard wif it..ACT.

Relaxing at West Coast Park. =)
went to kbox jurong safra for its opening promotion. only 10 dollars nett per pax! shiok. 1st time since dunno hz long ago sing at kbox..v impress with the system..touchscreen wif alot of new function..sing for more den 6 hrs! wooo!! shld go again b4 the promotion end!
OOur new found pastime.............PICKING durian at NIE!! tat's right! NIE! haha..alot of ppl don believe when we told them but is true.. if u happened to go past NIE..take note at the slope above the pond..u will seee uncles n aunties hanging ard dere..n u will also see me n paopao waiting wif them..haha..damn fun..the moment u hear the sound..everyone will rush the find the fallen prize..hehe..we manage to got a large one on our 1st day n a small on the sme nite..the taste is not bad..but i personally feel tat smaller one are nicer den the bigger ones..=)

as usual..the stupid shit..in a moment or eager-ness, she try to chop the durian wif a kitchen knife the way u chop a piece of meat..hand on the durian and chop the shell..-_-""in the end, a bleeding thumb. dumb ass.. haha..lucky she not very accurate..if not her whole thumb might juz be gone..
not only that, her fren also gave us afew durian..in the end, i tink we ate up ago 6 durian in the past 4 days...shiok n shag.. nw throat abit sore and paopei is down wif fever too..bleh.
