♥ boring old new year wishes!
its the end of 初一 and i shall not update abt what has been happening for the past few days... just suddenly got the feeling to list down a few things that i would like to achieve for the next three years (until i get back frm china...) cuz i feel that its more practical to list these down than only the to-do list for the coming year... so much is going to happen, i can feel it...
so. in order of which comes to my mind first:
- tour china at least once with baobei
- build snowmen and throw snowballs with baobei
- experience 除夕 at chinatown, sg
- keep in contact with baobei at least 4/7 days (include web-cam/msn/sms/face-to-face/phone/letter writing, etc)
- gain weight until 59kg (NO, that is NOT a typo, haha) i also think im getting too thin le..
- try my best to get second-upper (haha u can see the importance of this to me now... its priority is way behind baobei >.<)
- find out what i would like to specialise in and thus get a general idea of my working life
- make sure baobei gets a decent job which he can excel in, pay is not impt (but of course by the time i come back it should hopefully be >3000), what is more impt is tt he is happy with the job n boss/colleagues
- get used to heels
- wear more skirts (haha roomie said she nvr see me wear heels b4... bleah)
- save money with baobei (at least 50/mth/person), go on another small trip with baobei b4 i leave for beijing OR use the money on something happy with baobei in the next three years
- have the confidence to diagnose and cure a patient with simple and common ailments by the time i leave for beijing <- this one is impt to me.
- make sure my mouth (the freakin prob tt has been troubling me for at least 5mths!) has healed b4 my fyp starts
- be happy with fyp and learn the most out of it
- be nicer to mummy
- cut very short hair
- dye it a very bright colour
- then grow at least shoulder length by the time i get back frm beijing :D haha!
eh... that is almost all. exhausted the list le. i believe all these are achievable (not fat hopes) so... wish me good luck!

it was another game that made me totally stunned.
and we won... 74-40! almost doubled!
hall three finally won hall six!
三年了。连续三年 semis 碰到他们，两年的惨败让我对自己失去信心。但多亏有我那群不离不弃的队友，下半场我们终于肯定了我们的实力。
GO HALL THREE! lets win the GOLD!!!

we were so lost during the first half. trailing about 10 points behind hall 6 by half time, i was not inspired at all. i thought "history is gonna repeat itself", people around me told me "we can do it, we just have to defend well, we WILL do it." and i nodded, barely noticing what was happening, just that i know i need to do my job, defend well, and things will work out. and they did!

well done xinying! i think u played fabulously this match! scoring at least 4 three-pointers effortlessly. n thanks to cheohpin who inspired me to see things in a better light. good job manager denise, i thought u played excellently in attackin and defending today! and not forgetting cynthia and ah bao, for being our steady foundations, our beloved point guards! and to jasmine, eileen, estee, yingying, weiqi... for doing their jobs superbly and for being in this team we belong to... lets do more as a team and im sure all this will be so unforgettable...

well done too! sbs girls emerged SILVER for BASKETBALL (which i've blogged before)! and our mixed CAPTAIN BALL has emerged SILVER too! a great improvement for bball cuz we went frm third to second, but a little sad for capt ball cuz we maintained our position, but the score difference was larger than last year. i really think nie played extremely well, and their teamwork n fitness was amazing. so we din really complain much. it was a beautiful game n we played well too! it was really nice (haha im so haolian) to have pple tell me "woaah! that was a good catch!" and "she's really good!" heh heh... it makes my day! of course, my teammates were really good too, but dun be sad, dun forget while we're gaining weight thru memorising viruses and 原文s, they are busy losing weight thru running! haha (super good excuse for losing with pride).

yiroe was the main shooter throughout the games, and (HAHA) no one (frm other teams) actually "realised" this blatant fact. in fact, this was true since the first capt match Last Year. hahaha no one frm any team had the insight to man-mark her (maybe she's too ~shen~ to be marked?! ahha), not even nie last yr. but this year, they grew smart. lol. thats y we lost 11 points, instead of the 1 point last yr =(

a few funny things to mention:
weichao (oops!) sprained his ankle the first match (ohhhh...poor thing). how?? the ball rolled down the slope at src there, he went to retrieve it, den accidentally stepped into a pothole while hurrying back... n ta-da! sprain ankle -______-"
daniel shoots terribly (sorry daniel!) haha but its hilarious in the first match cuz it was a "sunday" (in the bball sense) and i shouted "快点丢！" and he 丢-ed. without aim. TWO metres away frm me. (another -_______-") haha after that, even when he got open space, i would shout "daniel! 不要丢!" lol!
and some poor things happened to me while on the chair. i got stabbed in the eye while playing against CBE, n i dun even noe why?! he was supposed to aim for the BALL leh. haha.. and while playin against nie, i elbowed a botak (accidentally lah! i think he's called edmund) and i had a bruise on my elbow... wakao. damn hard n spikey head lah!
hmm n some of the guys were terrific, played v v well and v v v v hard.
im proud of u all =)
overall, well done sbs!
and, to yiroe n shuling: lets have our "last" chance to play tog in the international games! haha~

温病 quiz was just over on thurs (where got pple so fast quiz one... couldn even make it for my Last midnight fiesta lor, so sad), and i really really hope i will do well. cuz i really tried v hard to study for it. and im really interested in this teacher's speeches. i think she's really a v v good lecturer, someone who can teach us daily applications, how to "think" in real life situations. hmmm.....

oh, and baobei n i had a wonderful "mini bbq 团圆饭" yesterday! on the roof top of 3B! haha~ bought firestarters, tray, and LOTS of food! n... something terrible happened. there was a super disgusting smell as the bbq continued. it was so horrible tt it kinda spoilt the happy mood. only until when we cleared everything then we saw what happened. we "melted" (literally) part of the rubber in between the tiles... and tt was what tt stinked. oh gosh, we're poisoned! i had a super bad headache towards the end of the bbq, n it persisted until i fell asleep :( dunno how many brain cells died. for pple who dun understand what rubber im takin abt, go to 3B roof top n see for yourself!
and when we had excess of food, we bbq-ed finish and brought down for his level guys... they were like "从那里拿来的?" and we were like "上次问你们要不要 bbq, 问来问去 den 我们自己来 lor" haha and some of them commented "so ro-man-tic sia" heh heh. boliao little paopao n baobao!

even thou we din make it for midnight fiesta, we had our own little midnight fiesta last sat! it was v fun! wasnt too squeezy, and we bought alot of paintings!
first one is 子健-银月 in colour! so kiddo~ haha den we went another shop n did the other two, the one in the middle is my mom's name (can u decipher that?) haha n the third is 福寿安康 for baobei's parents. new year gift! heh. costs us abt 50 bucks in all lor... haha but its fun watchin them paint. think they really v lihai leh!
anyways... watch n watch, until we missed the last train -_____- wanted very much to save on cab fare, so we ended up taking NR5 to boonlay, n then walkin all the way back hall. haha so fun! im sure not all pple will appreciate this weird kinda "fun" (not all girls can tahan walkin SO much) haha but i really dun like to waste money on taxis n it felt really good to save that extra twenty or so bucks!
PS: had a super yummy meal at XO shop! oh man we ordered enough for 4 pple (the waitress was kinda shocked when we wanted the second largest serving (usually for 3-4 pple) of XO 鱼片米粉汤 and a small serving of kuaytiao wif taogeh... haha BUT we managed to finish ALL! wah damn shoik. the feelin of shoikness lasted all the way until nxt aftn. heh heh!

so whats wrong?! we stopped it, n looked more carefully see where we went wrong... *diaoz. its 350 farenheit not degree celsius!! when converted, its only abt 160 degrees! no wonder chao tah lah! anyways, after peelin away the top chao tah layer, it still tasted good!......... super heaty! i had sore throat the very next day. =(

♥ i'll miss my roomie...
its like... 5am in the morning. lol. recently im kinda addicted to watching 射雕英雄传 starred by 张智零 and 朱英. really nice to see real fighting n not juz special effects without any real physical contact.

anyways. im feelin kinda upset now.

baobei has successfully finished his first week of intern! from what i heard, its pretty slack, surfing net n sleeping n reading a few texts on generally knowledge he gotta grasp in the next few months. one of his in-charges even advised him "don worry, go for ur break, no need so pia, its v relaxing one" HAHA. n he did come back to hall like...twice a wk? well even thou i dont see him that often nowadays, we still spend alot of time smsing n talkin on phone, so its not too bad i think.

since baobei's intern is at paya lebar, nicely situated since he can go frm home easily, no need wakie so early... tt means he wont come back hall so often. tt means its kinda costly to afford a single room for stayin twice/thrice a wk. tt means... he prob need to 退房.
for some time i thought it over.
if wan save money, only two choices.
- like he said, 退 his 房 lo.
- rent out my room.
sadly, after much thinking, i've decided on the latter. n im so so reluctant. i told jingsian abt my decision over an sms last night, n she immediately called me, "为什么你不要面对面跟我谈这件事？不要啦... 有什么问题我们可以解决嘛..." n i felt so sad... after being roomies for a semester, ive grown to like her immensely, n we had many heart to heart talks. she also said its rare for her to have close singaporeans frens cuz m'sians n singaporeans tend to form diff cliques. i totally agree. even though we dont spend time (not at all, actually... and sadly) outside our room, the time spent inside had been most memorable... the funny pact we had to keep to a healthy lifestyle (which i lost, terribly), the gossips we shared abt our past n present relationships, the interesting debates held regarding our majors (aka tcm n psychology), and so much more. but... the other option... that is, to let baobei 退房 instead... has so much more disadvantages... and im so sorry.. that this involves a choice btw u n him...
i know u said u dont mind him staying over at night sometimes, like i dun mind ur bf stayin over sometimes... but... i know how we behave at times, n to have a private room is definitely more preferable to tt, for ur good as well. i know, bcuz (and im sorry) tt fuichin had to suffer this when we were more ignorant then. i know how miserable she felt, n ive always felt guilty abt it ever since we went our separate ways. i definitely dowan history to repeat itself. besides, if baobei keeps his room, he can still have all his frens (n they're my frens too) arnd at the same level, where he still needs them for next yr... for OC, for takraw, for soccer, for DOTA, for mj, for guitar hero, n for a million other things. sorry jingsian.. im sorry im so selfish... i told u last sem, abt the possibility, but i nvr thought it would bcum a reality. n now tt it has... im sorry for my choice.

i wont promise we would keep in touch often (but we'll try!), cuz like my past frenships, no matter how good they are, i always fail to keep regular contact. but u'll still be the nicest m'sian i've known, heck, one of the nicest pple i've known... lets hope our dreams* will b realised one day in the near future, n maybe we will get to congratulate each other then! :)

a few things to update which we forgot. celebrated day 800! with a cute little cake which we drew ourselves! woohoo! costs abt $11.90 at jurong point n we got to deco ourselves! shoik. baobei drew the stick figurines n the smiley face while i did the words n the heart! haha not bad not bad! MUACK!

- print photos at LWN
- choose n buy the base papers and coloured puffy pens
- cut out the photos and find a nice arrangement on the paper
- stick double sided tape n paste on the paper
- choose shells and find a nice arrangement
- use super glue to glue them on
- choose the colour of the pens
- write NICELY (only this step is done by baobei! i did ALL the rest!)
