yesterday was a lovely day! haha finally ISG bball started, and WE, sbs girls, are into SEMIS!! hahaha YES lah!

there was a cock up in the timing, so while e guys were actually playin at 8am, they thot it was 7am and reached there before sunrise. sadly, our guys lost both matches, puttin them outta competition. haiz... anyways, they cheered very hard for us! thank you guys! heh heh. we trashed MAE (too bad baobei!) haha but seriously, i played like shit for that match. the prev day i woke up at 4pm (late for trng!) n hence the night b4 i COULDN sleep! so many bball things ran thru my head non-stop... grrrr... so while playin against MAE my head was throbbin n i couldn focus. nvm that, anyways, we WON! haha. n NBS too chicken to show up (more like they couldn bother to show up), so its a walkover n we're into semis! poor cynthia... i had hoped we could play against each other once!

oh, n doc li (one of our sbs profs)gave yiroe a $50 note to buy drinks for the team.. =X thats ALOT! haha so we decided to buy 2 canadian pizza 1-for-1, making that a total of 4!! niceeee! even thou it was delivered from NTU, it still took like.......45min?! lame. they dun even noe where is src.

anyways, yiroe n i stayed behind to watch all the remainin matches, n the sun was HOT. haha i was super tired, accidentally slept in the sun for like...10min?! n ta-da, chao tah alrdy by today. supported SPMS, haha majority of the pple frm tt time street challenge noe one... gossip abt how NIE bully other schs.. abt how NIE should be banned frm ISG.. abt how some girls wear three quarters to match (diaozzzzz).. abt how ah tiongs shld be prevented frm being referees.. abt how some ah tiong referees actually DUNNO that 跳球 was abolished AGES ago.. n all things under the sun, literally. haha made frens wif zhirong, mel, n another hall 1 girl which i forgot the name.

n... yiroe n i stayed till the VERY end to catch the exciting (n deciding) match btw SPMS n HSS. until........ the sun went down.. =X officially stayed there for >12 hrs.. a record.

sadly, SPMS lost, but they nearly caught up in the second half. lost to stamina la. poor zhirong, so willowy. i see u all also shack. actually, whoever won has nthg to do wif us, ahha we'll b playin against CEE again (like last yr, but unlike last yr, we will WIN this time! n go to finals wif NIE!!). full force will turn up on nxt mon. me, yiroe, shuling, xinying, yizhen, wanqing, yueyou, aileen etc. lets hope the wait is worthwhile!

meanwhile, ive had loads of team-bonding going on these two weeks. cheesecake making with denise n eileen! haha it was fabulous! (okok thanks denise, for all the LOVE put into it!)haha. n we went shooting-star gazing last week, thou we din see any star (any NORMAL star) for most of the night at all, let alone a "shooting" one. lol. but we stayed there till 6+am, n ended up with a few terribly itchy mosquito/ants/whatever bites each. sianzzz. the itch lasted at least three days! argh.

xinying caught dozing off on the couch at 3B lounge where we regularly met for 小娘惹.
lunch at pizza hut lunch offer! dammit. the freakin waitress told me: "im sorry but this meal is only for students." i glared at her n said "im a STUDENT." bleah.
i was the shi fu behind the scene~ everyone who tasted it said it was heavenly! heh~"remember, must stir without forming bubbles!"

last week, baobei went reservist! i love him in his army uniform! haha so cute :)n despite having to book in at 730 every morning, he came back hall every single night to pei me! haha some cute cute picts of him!

cheeky little boi.yay~ the first night, his fren passed him his coffee-bean card (with credits inside) to help dabao drink back.. we used it to buy a FREE cheesecake! yummy yummy! even more yummy with the thinkin tt its FREE! muahahaa..shoik! u can see the pleasure oozing out of his eyes... mmmmm...

finally, as i promised! sushi making steps! here's a glimpse of the final product! woohoo~

looks professional eh?! it tastes professional too!rem, must buy calrone rice for sushi making! fat round grains!some of the other ingredients needed: crab stick, toppings (we bought scallop, canned corn n canned tuna), cucumber, rice/sushi vinegar, seaweed, mayonnaise, sugar n salt, etc. u also need the sushi making bamboo sheet. n lots of love n patience of course!

back at baobei's home, we took out every thing...

and arranged them nicely on the table!

baobei decided to showcase his cooking skills by preparing the rice. we used 2 full cups, thinkin it was enough for 4 pple. but it wasnt, n after everything, we cooked two cups again! add an equal amt of water to the rice, and simmer over a small fire for abt an hour, until the rice is nice n sticky for use, but not TOO sticky.cutting up the crabmeat into halves, preparing for steaming... while

baobei tried his best to fry three eggs. sadly, the egg was abit crumbly! it tasted fine thou!

steaming the corn! n then the crabmeat! takes abt 15min each.

the making of sushi vinegar! use abt 1/3 cup of rice vinegar, add 2 table spoons of sugar and a pinch of salt. heat over a mild fire until all has dissolved. then, add a large spoonful to the rice at a time, stirring vigorously but carefully after each addition.

the first completed sushi! YUM! i think the corn tastes the best out of all the rest :D

baobei also tried a hand in making.. haha he admitted tt im better at rolling. he's better at cuttin the rolls up thou. heh heh.. so fun!

ooooops! stpd baobei took a super unglam shot of me stealing a bite. haha EH my arm is not THAT fat in reality. its just the angle, really.

woohoo~ packing some of the sushi into boxes for his parents n my mummy! if ur reading this n is eager to try this out, pls go ahead! haha any qns juz ask me or baobei! its not difficult. but to buy everything we mentioned, it costs abt 30 bucks.

at ikea, i saw a super adorable cockroach/beetle/whatever. haha!baobei in a doggy mask!the recent craze over geography. my first attempt was HORRIGIBLE. i had a score of <2000.
froggie became a bookmark as i spent most of my time (other than at bball trng/match/friendly, n at sleeping) reading. i think i have finished abt 15 books since exams ended. woohoo~baobei tryin to be funny. heh heh~ yay~ nxt tues to fri is langkawi! haha the excitement had died down since we bought our tickets three weeks ago, but finally the trip is coming! a well deserved break! n fortunately it doesn clash with ANY match at all, includin hall n ISG. how lucky! :Dlast but not least, Merry Christmas to all of you!
