♥ poor italy defeated...
oh man... $5 gone... italy was kicked out early this morning.. n these two days turned day-night upside down. haha finali i "took up" soccer.. taking pains to understand what's offsides, cross, kick-off, diff btw penalites n free kicks, wingers, n... (still trying) to remember the more popular names and the countries/clubs they are from. lol. n i do think its quite fun! watchin soccer w a whole bunch of pple, whether we know them or not, is so much crazier than alone. which was wad i tried to do, years back, when ppl keep sayin world cup v shoik, so i stayed up alone at night to watch, n ended up fallin asleep n waking up w a sore neck. ahha~

this morning (mon), italy played spain. right b4 the whole euro started, baobei asked me which team i think will win e championship n i anyhow picked italy among e rest, while he picked spain, n he bot $5 for the two tix. haha who noes tt we actually made it n played against each other! it wasnt an exactly fantastic match (i love those with many many MANY goals...) n it ended w a pathetic 0-0 after extra time :X summore italy stil lost on penalties.. their defense was magnificent thou, but attack damn jialat. that aside, what was more interesting was HOW we came to watch ydae's match. lol. ydae was baobei's fren (cheryl, frm sports og) bdae party at aloha loyang. i tagged along cuz i had nthg to do, n guess what, i met shinwei, yiroe, kailing, candice etc. so qiao la n the world is so small. poor maggot today start sch le, i had hoped we could watch a match tog! nxt time ba.. heehee. yiroe, the usual soccer fan, jio me watch, so we ended up in her car, travellin all e way fr pasir ris to bishan to play mj w her n a crazy fren of hers (crazy cuz no one would usually come over for a game of mj n soccer in the middle of e night...). crazy for us too, to leave our cosy east side n all e way to north for mj n a match. luckily both of us won. haha~

set off to bishan mac (near j8)... walkin thru bishan neighbourhood in the dead of the night, i admit it was the first time, quiet n peaceful, with a tinge of adventure! walk n walk... abt 20 min, before we reached the supposed mac. den yiroe n her fren realized e mac was Gone. GONE! omg. all of us were shocked. match starting in less than 20min. hahaha n they stayed there so long alrdy, din even realise e mac was replaced by a food court. *diaoz. anyways decided to trudge back to her place get her car n go to angmokio mac... lol. wad a looonnnnngggg walk back.

angmokio mac was real "cowarded" haha.. (baobei's spellin error for "crowded"). 0-0 was boring enough for me, but the penalty kickout was nerve-wreckin for me, n i felt my teeth clattering esp hard when the cute spain goalkeeper managed to save two italy shots. siannnned. there goes my $5 n also my pride. stpd baobei keep laughin into my ear... the night before we bet mac breakfast over russia-holland match, n i lost as well. boo. pancakes was worth it thou. mac was quite cold, chillin my heart since so far, all e teams i supported went down. arghhhhh...

okok enough of soccer. sat we went to rollerblade at east coast! heehee.. supposed to go w my bms frens but it was cancelled cuz only a few could make it. anyways i went w baobei... n i fell down as soon as i left the shop. other than that both of us fared quite well, avoiding the scary slope near the seafood are which both of us fell terribly. haha n we spotted a snake! right in e middle of a blading road... so we stopped n stared at it. a v skinny one, n he wiggled his head while we stared. n... a cyclist came by n rolled over it! omg. it shrank n curled.. poor thing! baobei was sayin he wouldn blade anymore le, ltr snakes fall on his head. haha stpd shit. anyways, while i looked it the snake my blades decided to move backwards, n i fell on my ass again. hmpf.
