♥ the Low... after the high.
i felt a little upset today.
.
cooking for many pple always makes me happy. but why does the money part make me sian? i noe it wasnt a cheap meal, but its still not v ex also wat. 8 yuan a person n u say i stingy. pui. haiz... dont u understand im not obliged to cook for so many pple?? i dont have to do it but i do it for the fun. but there's so much behind each meal that surpasses juz the money value, which is priceless. when u invite pple over, u consider the likings/dislikes (aka ji4 kou3) of each n every person, to think of non-commonplace dishes tt everyone will like, and then consider the staggering of time, the price of the food, the compatibility of dishes, etc etc. and then u need to go buy the food from diff places, coke n cheese only in carrefour/wu mart, the veggies u gotta go fangzhuang cuz its abit cheaper, n bcuz i was alrdy burdened with all the foodie, i din go to my house tt marketplace which sells even cheaper veggies. and then u gotta dedicate the 2 hours to cook the dishes while others go gym/sleep/slack/surf net. makes u feel like a maid sometimes. the feeling worsens if the dish turned out bad, but tue's meal was still not bad la. hmmm..

maybe i brought all these upon myself. i think once i got over the food craze, i shall cease mass invitations. or if i do invite others over while expecting them to chip in, i shall buy all the cheapest food, instead of stuff like chicken wings, coke, cheese, veggie frm fz. in that sense, my household will prob "save" on costs. note that every dollar our guests saved frm the meal, my housemates n i would have to make up for it. its not like we're earning anything from that.

maybe im being abit over in this discussion, but i juz wanna spill it out of me. i noe i always stay over at ur place n "leech" on u all. but i do chip in for most of the meals and sometimes i brought fruits/biscuits (even thou i finished most of the biscuits myself..), and once i got u guys a new knife, and u cant deny the effort i made to go all the way to ur place (rem u guys always complain how far u had to walk to come my place?) and help cook once or twice, and i believe i brought some degree of happiness too. i assure u that if at any point in time i felt like i was intruding upon ur household, i wont turn up again. if one day i am too dense/insensitive to observe that, pls tell me that.

after that little discussion when i was asked to break down the prices of the meal, i really felt kinda hurt. its like u think im really cheating ur money. so much so tt i couldn pay any more attention to lesson after break ended. yea. it accounted for my lousy mood the whole day. and i even contemplated cancelling nxt tues' potential pig gathering. but nvm, think u guys dun really mean it also, its juz i think too much.

i also lazy to log out of my gmail and i shld blog to paopei alone!!! lalallaaa

hmmmm..ttttttttttooooooooo long nvr blog le..dunno hz to start..hehe pui pui . tink i shld start off by saying..ITS OVER!! althot still not offical yet. but i have finish my 4 yr mae course at ntu!! yeah!! feel gd nw dat there is no more studying, no more waking in the morning for lecture, no more endless project and ppt, no more rushing for quiz and trying v hard to catch out wif the tuts and lecture...hehebut i will definitely miss the time at NTU.. it haf realli been the most exciting time in my life so far..alot of memories, especially in HALL 3.. nvr regretted staying thru all 4 yrs..it is realli and experience dat i dun tink i can find it anyway else...
the drinking session, soccer, takraw, hall event, IHG, the shouting across room/out of room, gossiping abt everyone else in hall, spreading rumors and news, irritating neighbours and getting irritated, looking at occasional chiobu in hall and ang mo..hahahaa.. i am really gg to miss all of things..hai..one part of me feel shiok to finally graduate but a bigger part of me misses the hall life and the stay up late in the nite den supper n slp until shiok days...work life doesnt sound so fun..other den the payday at the end of the mth..

anyway, FYP was done as well..presentation was superb i tink..lucky tat i got lennie as my moderator..farking heng..he was also my IA supervisor and the moment i saw him walk into the room...the nervousness in me suddenly disappear..sorry guys..cant help it tat im always get the gd prof..haha..act i tink i quite heng..FYP didnt realli get started until the 2nd sem..den start to panick..rush here rush dere..n finish a yr work in 1 sem..n the effort was paid off after the presentation and i hope shearwood will gif me a good grade like A for my effort..hehehe..
next goal in life..to secure a gd work..maybe not the best job..but hopefully one tat have a gd pay n gif me the chance to gain some experience...worse come to worse..maybe can consider air force..haha..heard tat their pay is quite gd..n seem i pass my ippt not like jiajun..haha..i tink i might be able to it get..but.

♥ a very nice day with most part of the pig!
this was what i typed on 5th may (in a letter to baobei but was kinda meant for a blog post) but was too lazy to sign in vpn to post until now. haha~ cuz exams are OVER! n we're free for at least 7weeks!! woohoo! here goes the post:
paopei is bored. hehe. wanted to blog but lazy to sign in to vpn! so i shall blog to baobei alone!!

kaka just told me its SUMMER once 1st may passed. wow. thats quite fast isn't it? spring was barely felt, and ta-da! summer here alrdy. i had kinda just decided i kinda like spring, n i told her abt it, when she say its summer alrdy. oh... so maybe i like summer more. this spring is not a gd indication of how spring normally is in beijing, i think. cuz the winter was so draggy. zzz... its amazing seeing little green (or red or white or some other funny colour, but mostly green) buds popping out from barren trees and shrubs, or anything tt looked dead. HAHA. the wonders of life. (ok i sound like im blogging. maybe i'll post this another day when i sign in to vpn. or u can help me post! hehe)

kaka also said it rained flowers on sunday. she say v pretty. haha i was sleepin at home so i nvr notice anything until tues when on the way to school i realised all the flowers were gone from the trees :( haha~ i missed out on another rare scene again! sian. just tt i was sleepin when the sky turned a v bright orange that time during one of beijing's worst sandstorms. maybe i shld consider sleeping less. oh. talkin abt sleeping. i slept so much again ydae. hehe~ lala~ the weather is SO nice to sleep can! even thou today got exam, last night i slept at 10plus, n i set alarm at 8am. this morning i convinced myself tt i can get nthg else into my head, so i keep setting hourly alarms at 9, 10, 11, until 1130 i finally wakied n went to sch early. haha thats to prevent me frm gg back to bed again (and risk missing my exam at 1.30pm).

challenges w hf are gg strong! hehe. even thou i lost to her quite abit last wk... im sure this wk will be better cuz im alrdy prepared!! yay!! hehe. its not abt the money. its the pride! haha pride can make pple learn more. im glad i found her to challenge cuz kaka n huiming not consistent one. n she also cant find anyone to challenge. so exciting!! (anyways, this is abit lame, but to those who know i recorded my voice on mp3/comp to keep repeating till i get the fang ge correct, u will be amazed to find out i went up one level. HAHA. i recorded on my hp n put as alarm!! hehehe~ every half an hr ring, and i must stop whatever im doing to follow the recital for one min. so cool can!!! muahahah~)

back to today (12th may) haha~ had a REALLY superb day. in short, ydae we invited gf's gang and anna n sockling over for dinner! quite proud of myself haha cuz the chicken was nice (thanks to huiming's recipe) but the other two dishes were quite a surprise too! yummy cheese/onion/egg omelette and a refreshing salted egg/veggie dish. slurp. there was an excess of rice but every single person finished their share (except the one with the nong2 tou1 aka the authentic "uhu" HAHA). she tried to pour her left over rice on my plate n make me look like im the one who couldn finish my rice. pui!!

then we played One game of citadel. think the explaining the game part too longer than the actual game. haha its a difficult but quite intellectual game. the POR POR won by chance! zzz... me n anna were so close! arghhhh! nvm.
.
gf stayed over for the night~ hehe she told me abt her lousy art skills (HAHA to the tree!) and she nvr shi1 mian2 again! MUST be me lah... cfm. hehe~ everytime i sleep over or she sleep over den she wont shi1 mian2. counting sheep is lame. hehe juz come sleep over ba! im ur antidote :D

had a nice time w zhang laoshi at the lao3 ya1 tang1 place~ but the food wasnt v fantastic. laoshi keep tryin to bluff us tt she eat alot. -________-n machiam we cannot see for ourselves tt she eat so little can. haha~ nvm la. at least she enjoy our company. my outfit was so "sunshine" today. haha i even felt kinda OLD wearing it. haha but better now than 20 yrs later. the pigs dared me to wear the same outfit 20yrs later. i think pple will throw rotten eggies at me. pui.

the kbox session tt followed was Honestly one of the BEST ive ever had. not a moment of peace, not a moment of boring-ness. hahaha~ superbly fun! it was a pig-out session w/o the pig ass (who went shopping) and the pig 3-layer-meat (is that wat its named in english?! lol). had super many songs tt required us to stand up n scream like shit. haha n we trapped huizi n candice n "their house's" joanna in our room to perform for us. haha... so cute. yay some one said i won huizi today in singing the si3 le4 dou1 yao4 ai4~ lalala~ hahahaha... had alot of v funny videos, including joaMA dancing our secret new "PIG" dance, and aMA (aka kAMAk) with her crazy shen ah jiu jiu wo ba (said to have originated from a kbox session w her bro some time ago). well... look out for the videos on fb!! lol. alot of random funny crazy stuff like "you cANT" song, the "liu bu zhu ni de wen rou" song, and the usual dose of loud jumping songs..., and the WEIRD pronounciation with everyone counting how many number of "chins" u have (btw candice won with 6, kailing n i followed closely behind with 5, while joAMA and kaMAk had only two each... note the direct link btw degree of skinnyness of face and the number of "chins" MUAhahahah~), and the nobody nobody butt-chew (aka "eyes" in dialect) ok i think alot of ppl wont get the joke. hahahaha~ all in all, its a superb day. yup~

ended the day with a happy Mac meal... and a promise for some pig action again nxt tues!! prob dinner and stayin over! (n prob my place again!) hehe i love love LOVE cooking for many pple.. haha~ and when baobei is here i'll cook for him! hope he gets to mix around w my frens too! he'll love them n they'll love him! hugzzz to all of them! hehehe n esp to gf~ hahaha so many lame songs today i had total fun! muack!!
