♥ why sg is so Naise~
class ended early today and nthg to do... so shall mention some random things which i've always wanted to mention but too lazy to. HAHA. well.. for those who dun keep in contact w me, i've alrdy survived 5mths of beijing, been back to sg for jan-feb, and then back in beijing till now. singapore has been, and will always be a wonderful place, and no one can fully appreciate the beauty of singapore until u are away from it for long. pple like me n my classmates. shall list down a list of things why we shld feel blessed cuz we're singaporeans!

- no winter! trust me, snow is fun when u've nvr seen it before, but the consquences of Living thru it is comparable to hell sometimes, when even writing in ur room u have to rub ur hands constantly to prevent them from freezing. n u need to spend 10min just wearing clothes (and 10min undressing them). makes u dun wanna go downstairs to dabao food. haha i dunno why i still grew fat. since most of the wkends i ended up eating one meal simply cuz im too lazy... zzzz!
- no constant spitting on the floor. argh. u have to be alert! whenever some ah tiong "karrrh" you must Siam first before they "puuuuuI" somewhere near u. if not u might just kena it. n a good thing to do everyday is to look at the ground when u walk, cuz its very highly likely that u step on spit n bring the remnants home. (actually u most prob will bring some home, its just the amount.)
- no annoying honking everywhere u go. to china pple, honking is like, so freaking common, that initially u are very sensitive to the honks n siam the cars, but eventually u realise most of them honk to make u walk faster (even when ur on the right lane at the right time) and they can continuously honk for many many times. it just doesnt irritate them. but oh, how soothing singapore is, in comparison.
- no pollution! the air in beijing here is not very good. even thou u dun feel it (u may feel it if ur quite sensitive to dust), u can SEE it. haha leave a book around for one day, n u'll feel the presence of the dust. sometimes i see no point in cleaning up. zzzz... magic clean does help alot alot. cuz the dust is so plenty n fine tt the broom cannot sweep up most (u need to use tissue paper to pick them up.) part of china still enjoy v clean air thou, those rural areas, like zhang jia jie!
- no dry air. seriously, the nxt day i return to beijing, a layer of thin flakey skin covered my hands n legs -__________- its so dry here!! n then ta-da... all my dandruff returned. sian. it takes two weeks for my skin to adapt. and when i first came beijing, i nvr buy humidifier. so what happens? traces of blood when i dig my nose. zzzzz.. my little froggie humidifier is my best friend! haha~
- no need to waste time n energy bargaining. almost everything (except those in departmental stores) can be bargained. and i think its very annoying cuz the shop keepers quote diff prices to diff pple, and while u may think u chop alot of the prices alrdy, ur STILL paying alot. eg. in Xiu Shui Jie, if they quote 300 and u cut to 150, u think u saved half and may smirk over the bargain, but the fact is u prob can get it for 50. HA. its quite time-consuming and taxing, cuz sometimes it might end up in the seller and buyer (us) feeling 肝郁. 为何要这样子呢???
- no need to worry that one day ur heater might burst and flood ur house (happened to one of my classmate's apartment), that a mushroom would grow in between the planks of ur house (happened to another of my classmate's apartment), that ur window might fall off and crash to the bottom of the building (yet another classmate's apartment), that ur heater is actually not providing sufficient heat to let u survive the winter (happened to Many of my classmates' apartments), etc etc. sounds horribly aint it? im glad my apartment has so few problems except for a few small problems when we first moved in. lalala~
- no need to separately throw toilet paper into a dustbin (cuz it cant be flushed down the toilet. if u forcefully throw it down the toilet, it will just come back to u, and it brings alot of other stuff with it. HaHa.)
- a large variety of food in sg! chinese, western, jap, korean, malay, indian. u name it. food in china is nice, but its just too narrow a spectrum for me to live here for good.

but of course, got good things in beijing too lah. just tt to me, its just not worth it. haha~ things like:

- having four seasons and experience the fun of a snow fight!
- being able to buy very very very cheap stuff (wow i just bought 6 english story books online for less than $10sg!!! books like A Beautiful Mind, Dear John, Sex and the City, etc etc. haha of course they are not the real ones lah..)
- Really Really cheap and good chinese food. (well the extremely good point of china is that things are really freaking cheap. not just the food, but the food is a very impt point to me. lol)
- (i cannot think of any other good point at the moment liao. zzzz...)

ok la enough of comparing. i've decided to put my old toothbrush at gf's place! hehe the lousy hotel toothbrush she's been providing me with is cui.. hehe. shall go n leech on them again. cooked yam rice for them last week n they quite like it. hopefully my fried rice this thurs will be good too!! i still find their place kinda cold for me. n i wanna get a bicycle soon! too laaaazy to walk to their place. hahaha~

bball last friday has been great! me, yiroe, huizi, xiaohui, sally~ played on our own n them challenged some ah tiongs. haha i totally openly gossip abt them in eng, until on the way back home, gf told me alot of them can understand eng. n kaka told me at church alot of them actually have ang mo's type of eng... haha. dun care. bleh. where got pple play bball so act seh one?! (one of them keep giving excuses for not shooting in 3-pointers. but seriously, he attempted no less than 10 times and not One went it. cui.) has been a good work out! been long since i last sweated so happily.. muscle ached for two days thou. bleh.

ok la... nua for 2.5hrs liao... shld go n do something productive. till then!

♥ Baobei is coming to China!
oh alright... its ages since the last post. haha Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all! and i've been back to Singapore for a month, traveled around China before I went back. the trip was not bad, thou not exactly fantastic mostly becuz it was still freakin cold, and also cuz baobei wasn't around to travel w me. Pui.

anyways, singapore was F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C. after spending a cold winter in beijing and then back to a super sunny singapore, i am 100% certain i wont wanna live in anywhere except singapore. haha. was ghostly white and kinda flabby after i got back sg, n baobao kept laughin at me. pui. but after 3 hot hot days at The Bins!!! and one day of day-cycling... haha i was nicely tanned (horribly sunburnt thou). haha~ it was a superbly nice month for baosi and paosi~!!! check out my photo album if u happen to visit my home in china! (oh yea we developed 100 photos n put them into a photo album! how old-fashioned. HAHA)

im here to announce that my little darling will be coming over to beijing for an entire month from 21st May 2010 to 21 June 2010!! Cheers!! *i can sense other girlfriends feeling jealous cuz their working boyfriends can only afford to take leave for at most a week! hehe* its gonna be the last one month b4 BOTH of us start working, so i guess, yea, i will be kinda ponning lessons to pei my little boy! hahaha... and the plans are alrdy out! subjected to changes thou. haha~ feeling so happy. cant wait cant wait!
